For and in cooperation with Rambøll: Wind engineering aspects of the Øresund cable-stayed bridge. Tests and analyses were performed for the determination of structural safety, structural vibrations, wind load, wind-induced traffic accidents, estimation of the extreme winds at the Øresund site and rain-wind induced vibrations of the cables. Wind buffeting, flutter and vortex-induced vibrations were part of the structural vibrations investigated. Theoretical calculations and interpretation of wind tunnel test results were carried out.
